Spicy Blackberry Margarita

"Some like it hot - but the sweet depth of fresh blackberries balances out the heat from the red pepper."

Spicy Jalapeño Blackberry Margaritas are so easy to make and so easy to drink. Blackberries, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, simple syrup and a red pepper (you can control the heat by adding more or less pepper to your cocktail). Make a pitcher for your next party!

Recommended glassware: Highball or Rocks glass.

Spicy Blackberry Margarita


  • 2 ounces Tequila

  • 1 ounce Cointreau

  • 1ounce lime juice

  • ¼ ounce simple syrup

  • 4 blackberries

  • 1 red pepper

  • Garnish with more fresh blackberries and a lime wheel

  • Rim with Habanero & Red Pepper Infused Salt


  1. Rim your glasses by swirling a lime wedge around the top of your glass, then spin the rim in a bowl or plate of Habanero & Red Pepper Infused Salt.

  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blackberries and the red pepper slice with the simple syrup.

  3. Add the tequila, Cointreau and lime juice to the shaker. Fill about ¾ full of ice.

  4. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds to chill and dilute.

  5. Strain cocktail into a rimmed glass and garnish with blackberries and lime wheel.

  6. Serve it up and enjoy it!
